As the General Manager at MediPaws, I work behind the scenes to ensure our incredible team of veterinary professionals has everything they need to focus on what matters most: providing gold-standard care to every patient who comes through our doors.

I’ve worked in the veterinary industry since 2014, initially managing a small general practice hospital on the Gold Coast. Since then, I’ve supported more than 50 vet hospitals across Australia, including emergency, specialist, and GP vets, to build their clinics, develop awesome cultures, and drive patient and client care enhancements. These experiences have cemented my deep respect for the incredible people who dedicate their lives to animal care. Their skill, heart, and resilience are nothing short of extraordinary.

Before discovering my love for the veterinary industry, I worked as a helicopter pilot in civil aviation. In addition to enjoying some of the best views of Australia’s spectacular coastline, I learnt the value of remaining calm in high-pressure situations, how to avoid a flock of pelicans, and the importance of robust quality systems; skills I now use to support veterinary teams in complex, fast-paced hospital environments.

Outside of work, I share my life with Ranger, a very cheeky and loveable 10-year-old Dalmatian, who taught me the love of a good run. He’s semi-retired now (unless he sees a magpie), but would still run a marathon if given the opportunity!
